Well, well, well.... what in the world is happening here? We are in the throughs of packing! Boxes, masking tape (expensive here, BTW) and stacks of everything everywhere. How can 4 people accumulate so much in such a short time? We're filling bags with things we want to give Romanian friends here (books, craft things, etc.) and hope it will dually bless them and lighten our load.
Friends are allowing us to move our belongings to their place in Timisoara. We'll store it there while in the States and even live there as needed until we can get to Bucharest. What a blessing from our Lord for that one. It will save us BUCKS (or should I say EUROS) in rent. We began moving boxes yesterday in the blistering heat. But, as a consolation, we spent the afternoon as a family at a local "strand," (swimming pool for the uninformed). Strands are a whole different story ...not your' father's swimming pool, as they say.
Now, about that camp. We had a temendous camp in the cool Retezat Mountains with about 40 teachers, 10 kids, a few husbands and a passle of Americans. Many seekers were there, looking for more information about a real and personal relationship with God. Those are some good opportunities to show Christ in everyday life. Of course, camp also means about 12 days that are 15 hours long.... but who's counting! Mikie and Emma were smitten by 2 American teeagers, Morgan and Laura (both Georgia peaches) who came over to do VBS with the kids. They always keep at least one "American radar" out and they truly lucked-up on these two. It was a "girly-girly" spectacle.
So, we'll keep packing (Lisa is a packing machine and I'm, well, I'm not!) so it will all get done. I just try to do as I'm told!
