We were recently fortunate enough to assist in collecting donations for Ovidiu and Adina to use at their church. For Easter, they bought all of the church families a new, spring tablecloth. For most Americans, this might seem like a trivia gift. However, for the people in Susani, it was a colorful and thoughtful and useful one.

We're particularly thankful for some folks who made this all happen... you know who you are!

MAKE YOUR LIFE COUNT FOR SOMETHING BIGGER THAN YOURSELF

Most of you are familiar with Ovidiu's name. He and his wife, Adina, serve a small church in their village of Susani, Romania. The Lord brought us all together several years ago through mutual friends (thanks Jon and Kacee). We continue to be committed to supporting their ministry to the youth there. His vision is to reach them and it has exploded. Currently, he's having around 140 teenagers come to his Friday night meetings! God has richly provided for them over the years, but their biggest need is still unmet.

One of our desires in ministry is to connect people together and ask you to PRAY for a young man or woman (or a couple) who'd come to Romania and be willing to live in Susani and serve alongside them.

Both Ovidiu and Adina are excellent English speakers. This is a tremendous opportunity and I've often said, "We'd be there right now if the Lord would allow us to do it!"

Since we have no camera, we had to wait to get these photos of Lisa pregnant... she's not believing I'll post them for all to see but then decided "why not." I thought about selling them to a tabloid like "Bradgelina" did, but I've had no success so far......

SHAKE THE DUST OFF YOUR FEET

Since our camera was stolen, I seem to be digging into the "archives" to find photos. This great shot was taken in Sirduc this summer. Along with Lisa and Mikie is Adina. The dusty road leads to a cool, blue lake. It sort of reminds me of what the roads must have been like where Jesus traveled. After being here, I clearly understand why "feet washing" was such a big deal. 

AS LONG AS OLD MEN SIT AND TALK ABOUT THE WEATHER...

This group were hanging at a small store in the village. The man pointing his finger jumped up after the photo was snapped and proceeded to drop his pants (underoos and all) and shoot us a big old moon!
