....SO WORTH IT!

In one of those "the planets lined up" kind of things, Lisa and I went to the movie this afternoon. Our friend, Mindy, volunteered to keep all three girls. A subway and a tram later, there we were! This is so worth seeing and it has an incredible story in it. We rarely get to the movie, so it was a treat and so was the excellent Lebanese food we ate in the mall right after it.

These are some of the movies that I really want to see.... fortunately, in Bucharest, we have real theaters that show the real, first-run movies in English

THE BUCKET LIST

I just uncovered this movie while searching for some "100 things to do before I die" ideas for our seniors..... anyone know anything about it?

HOLLYWOOD NIGHTS

We've been on a movie kick.... 3 this weekend! I've got a cold so laying on the couch has been an excellent idea to me. My "all-time favorite" is To Kill A Mockingbird. Lisa brought it back on DVD from US.... thanks Rhonda! Also, End of the Spear was an interesting portayal of the Jim Eliott group's story. The Queen was excellent. SO STOIC!

CAN'T WAIT

Debuting today in the US... hitting Europe next weekend.

EVAN ALMIGHTY

We walked to the mall tonight (...seems like a lot of posts start this way) as a family to see this movie. It really follows the true Noah story and is good. Not sacrilegious and it doesn't make fun of having faith. Interesting. It reminded me of how God told me we were to live and serve in Romania. It was the same "you've got to be kidding me" and then "oh, you're serious" thinking I had to fight and surrender to also. If you have any ideas of what God's called you to (cause if you're breathing, He's called you to SOMETHING) go see this movie.
