There is a philosophy about living in Romania that goes something like this:
"If you accomplish two things in a day, you were successful. If you accomplish three things in a day, you've had a rare occurance. If you accomplish four things in a day, the planets lined up!"
Yesterday, the planets lined up and we accomplished FOUR ...count them... FOUR things in one day! Youd probably have to live here - or have lived here previously - to appreciate this. Put it this way, "We're not in Kansas anymore." What were the four things, you ask?
1. All four of us received physicals for our resident visa applications
2. we got our home internet installed
3. After 4 hours wait, we turned in our visa applications
4. Mikie got her glasses (see below)
The planets really do line up!!
