I guess to the 2, maybe 3 people who read this so far, I'd say HI! Not exactly on the "must read list" quite yet. You never know. We came home to lots of broken things ....leaking plumbing (fixed that yesterday), no internet connection (Lisa fixed that today ...she's more mechanical, what can I say?), phone issues (no one can seem to fix that), cable's out (we may leave it like that ...very little in English except CNN anyway) and the van is in the shop (still there, maybe tomorrow??). Welcome to life overseas. It is all in a day's work.
I went out tonite to have sodas with some high school guys who were celebrating a birthday ("La Multi Ani" in Romanian) and the guy with the birthday pays for all the food and drinks ...an age-old custom here. How good is that, unless it happens to be your birthday. Looking forward to getting to know some new guys and reacquainting myself with some old ones.
Jet lag is almost over, but I'm tired none-the-less. As we say here, "Larevedere si noapte buna."
