FREE PRESS HOUSE was built in the classic "Stalinist style" and resembles it's counterpart in Moscow. Under communism it housed most of the press and publishing ....on a side note, all publishing was done through "THE STATE." It was illegal for anyone else to publish anything so it had quite an ironic name as FREE HOUSE. Today, it houses several national newspapers.
