....tearing me apart. Burning like a heatwave! So, a little old Linda R. for those who can remember it. Boy, it is hot here!!! Only our living room has AC. So at night in our bedroom it is about 3 AM before it cools down enough to actually sleep. The sun comes up at around 5 AM, so do the math. These days, even a thin sheet feels like a heavy wool comforter. The rule is, go to bed about 1 AM and try to sleep and get up at around 9AM.... the coolest part of the day. Imagine living inside an Easy-Bake oven! Concrete walls, concrete floors, concrete roof... all which are excellent heat-absorbers. We're on top, so we do provide shade for those underneath us. It is the least we could do.
