This is a classic propoganda painting of Romanian dictator Nicolae Ceausescu and his wife Elena. What an ironic depiction of them as the "saviors of the country and her people." In reality, his policies, politics and paranoia raped the country, demoralized the people and created one of history's most oppressive regimes. Communists were all about presenting themselves in the right light.
