SOME OF THE THINGS I'VE MISSED

smell of burning wood as I walk the streets
walking the streets
horses and carts stopped at red lights next to BMW's
cheap Turkish food
pastries
pedestrians everywhere
cobblestone streets that are very old
castles and fortresses on the roadside
outdoor terraces where people drink coffee
colorfully dressed gypsy women
jingle of keys and muffled talk outside windows
dusty streets
villages filled with geese

....ahhhh, we're home

Okay, I back tracked a little bit to the picture of the Ceausescus. Freaky!!! I have to admit, it's a little bit of a stretch for me to adjust to being at work today. It's hard to go about business as usual after my experiences in Romania. I don't doubt that you missed Romania. There's something about it that has captured my heart. What I need to do about that in little Frankfort, Indiana only God can say. We'll see....
