Why the Dillard's photo, you may ask. Well, it's borrowed from LABELSCAR (www.labelscar.com) where there is all sorts of retail history. I happen to love stories and photos of old department stores and malls... as do many others I've learned.
This is an abandoned Dillard's in an abandoned mall (Lake Forest) in a New Orleans suburb. Quite eerie, isn't it! What the economy didn't kill, Hurricane Katrina finished.
