This huge building is Bucuresti Mall.... our local hangout. We live about a 10 minute walk from here, just to the right of the place. Originally, it was built to be a large "Feeding Hall" for workers to come to for lunch so they could get back to building the great society. I know of 3 such buildings here and all of them are now shopping malls. Ironic??

Currently, the parking lot to the left is gone, replace by a massive garage and a new wing of several floors of almost-ready new stores.
