
The post below mentions the structures that were left unfinished after the fall of communism. This building, Casa Radio, was meant to house radio and television communication. Today, it is a massive, city-block sized concrete behometh that is covered in advertisements. Window holes remain empty and rumors swirl as to some use for it. Most likely it will become a hotel/retail/office complex, named Dambovita Center, after the river (seen below) of the same name that is just to the left out of sight.
