I know I dwell on the heat ....but.... today in the city while I was out, the temperature was 111 F degrees. It is not even August yet.
Just checked and, as I type at 6:30 PM, it is 107 F outside. Not a breeze in sight. It's now so hot we actually close the windows to keep the heat out! They say it might cool down to 9oF this week. A cold snap!!
