"My favorite food" in Romania is Sarmale. It's basically a pork / meat / lamb / rice mixture rolled in a cabbage (or sometimes grape) leaf. It is cooked in a pot, served with "smantana," which is a thinner version of sour cream. My Emma Grace can put these things away! Adina's mom made these for me!
