The Christmas tree is up and ...now it is almost warm outside! Something is not right! Well, not to complain as our apartment is very cold (at times) in the winter. No easy way to heat a shoebox completely made from concrete, with a concrete roof to the outside. So, maybe a warm day in November isn't such a bad idea after all.
Emma is under the weather and we've all been bumping into each other lately. However, Lisa just made some pasta with shrimp and alfredo sauce ...for a moment I thought I was at the Olive Garden (....one of our favorites across th ebig pond and where we had our first meal when we visited there recently).
Not much going on, but I'm determined to keep this baby updated ...so read on. Speaking of reading, been doing a lot lately. I go in spurts. Reading several things now ...Jack Welch's biography, an old Robert Ludlum "pulp spy fiction" and a little John Maxwell book about choices.
I plan to start running .....AGAIN. I was really into it again and then stopped (do I even know why) and I miss it. It feels good. People here do look at me funny, though. They do run here, a few people. But, it is so not popular to just hit the streets. You are supposed to travel to the other side of the city to run around a stadium's parking lot. Not for me ...I can run to a nearby park and run there (Parcul Botanic). So, here goes....
